Experience and Passion Behind Every Assessment

Hello! I’m Jamie Jent, the founder of ScoutFlight Hunting Assessments. I’m an FAA-licensed Part 107 remote pilot, a retired firefighter, an avid land manager, and a whitetail hunter with 30 years of experience in the field. I also hold a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Siena Heights University. I started ScoutFlight Hunting Assessments after witnessing how drones could be used to recover deer, which sparked a realization: while drones can’t be used for active hunting in Michigan, their potential for off-season surveys and habitat analysis is vast.

I saw how the same drone technology could gather precise, actionable insights for serious hunters, land managers, and those buying or selling hunting properties. With ScoutFlight, I’m bringing these capabilities directly to clients across Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

At ScoutFlight Hunting Assessments, our mission is to help you unlock the full potential of your land by providing in-depth surveys of deer populations, habitat quality, and topographical features, all without disrupting wildlife during hunting season. Whether you aim to improve herd management, showcase a property’s assets for sale, or get a better understanding of your land, we’re here to provide friendly, professional service backed by decades of hunting and land stewardship experience.

I’m thankful for the support we’ve received as a new venture. I’m looking forward to helping landowners and hunters across the region use cutting-edge drone technology to make more informed decisions. If you’re curious about how ScoutFlight can benefit your property, reach out for a free consultation. I’d love to chat about your goals and show you how our surveys can impact your hunting and land management success. Welcome to ScoutFlight Hunting Assessments!
